Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for flexibility, autonomy, and rewarding work in a collaborative allied-health environment?
We’re seeking passionate sub-contractor OTs to join our growing team supporting clients across Melbourne’s Western Metropolitan suburbs.
About the Role

We’re looking for Occupational Therapists who combine strong clinical capability with genuine compassion, curiosity, and creativity in their practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Clinical Excellence
Proficiency in conducting comprehensive functional capacity, sensory, and motor assessments.
Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to design evidence-based, goal-oriented interventions.
Sound understanding of assistive technology, equipment prescription, and home modifications.
Confidence working within NDIS frameworks, preparing detailed reports, and managing documentation to a high professional standard.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload across paediatrics, adolescents, and/or adults, tailoring therapy to individual client needs.
Communication & Collaboration
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a client-centred approach.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with families, support coordinators, educators, and other allied health professionals.
Capacity to advocate for clients’ rights, inclusion, and independence across various environments.
Emotional Intelligence & Professionalism
Genuine empathy, patience, and adaptability when supporting clients with complex needs.
Commitment to trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
Exceptional time management, organisation, and attention to detail.
Confidence working autonomously as a sub-contractor while maintaining professional accountability.

Dedication to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and learning.
Willingness to mentor or support junior clinicians, contributing to a positive and growth-oriented team culture.

Key Responsibilities
Conducting functional capacity, equipment, and home safety assessments.
Delivering tailored capacity-building and therapy sessions focused on daily living, motor skills, cognitive, sensory, and emotional regulation goals.
Recommending assistive technology and home modifications to improve safety and functional independence.
Collaborating with families, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals to ensure cohesive, client-centred outcomes.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with NDIS and professional standards.
Participating in ongoing mentorship, with opportunities to provide guidance to junior clinicians within your areas of expertise.
What we're looking for
Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
Current AHPRA registration (full)
Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience (NDIS, paediatrics, or adults preferred)
Strong clinical reasoning and confidence managing a mixed caseload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to empowering clients and delivering client-centred care
Current WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, and Police Check
ABN, Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance
Driver’s licence and reliable transport
